We didn't have Halloween in the Philippines when I was growing up, so I can't share any experience..

Hi Mommy Liz,
Surely we have All Saints Day where people loved to tell scary stories not to mention the many TV shows depicting horror stories. Anyway, thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

I don't have any Halloween experience as a child nor as an adult. The closest thing I'd ever celebrated Halloween is taking my "kids" (my alagas because the nanny jobs I had) to go trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. But I remember I was scared of one house we had passed by several years ago in New Jersey. The house was built like a big haunted mansion and to add to it , the owners put on creepy music and sound effects, and "creatures" and animated thingies on the lawn and doorstep that move and howl at you especially if you also move within a certain amount of distance from it.It was so scary----all the kids were so terrified ...and even me had the chills. I think the owners did not like children.
That one was memorable coz I'd never been scared of a house in my entire life.

Hi Bingkee,
Obviously the owner of the house really meant to scare people away from their house. He may have found satisfaction in scaring the wits out of the passersby in his place. It did not matter if he spent a lot in assembling all those scary gadgets. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Dhemz,
God bless you all always.

Wala namang halloween sa bicol eh hahaha.. But lagi akong nakikinig ng dramang "Gabi ng Lagim" noon lol..

Hi Rose,
Wala kayong scary story pag undas? Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
