Since I attended an exclusive girl's high school which shunned boys attending our parties and trespassing our campus, the administration of our school opted for the "Punk Rock" theme which was at the helm at that time, 1984--they thought it would be more exciting than boys...hehehe. We had our hairs spiked, wore freaking colorful goth make-up and lots of studs .....we thought we looked cool then ...of crse because that was the fashion rage....but now looking back at the pictures...all we could say is "Que horror".....what were we thinking?

Yes, that's an unusual party instead of the usual JS prom. Looking back at the silly things we did when we were younger make us laugh at ourselves. That was a peculiar experience indeed. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Akala ko lahat nang dumaan sa high school ay nakaranas nang JS Prom pwera na lang sa mga exclusive girls or boys schools. Masaya nga ang buhay high school natin. They had proms in Phillipines? We don't have them in Canada. We had a graduation dinner with a dance after.

Yes, all coeducational schools in the Philippines have the traditional JS Proms. The Proms are usually momentous occasions for boys and girls as they interact with each other on the dance floor.
