My 18th birthday...my birthday is on Dec. 2 and when I turned 18, I was in school at UP Diliman, and when I got back home in Davao for Christmas vacation on the 21st, I was given a surprise birthday party. It was a big party with all my friends (except my Manila friends)who came to celebrate it with me. My mother and my high school bestfriend organized it while I was in Manila. I was also amazed that they were able to invite everyone I'd like to invite.

Yes, that was a most memorable birthday party in as much that it was also your eighteenth birthday. That all your relatives and friends were all there in spite of the fact that you did not invite them personally speaks so much of their high regard and love for you. that was the time when Greg and I first met...well, actually he did not know na birthday ko the day after he arrived sa pinas....
dalawa yung party ko...sa office at sa bahay...courtesy nila mama't papa....:)

Ang aga mo talagang nabingwit ni Greg. Halos me gatas ka pa sa labi. Kaya naman tutol ang parents mo nung una kayong nagpaalam ni Greg, hehehe, lol. Very memorable nga yung 21st birthday mo kasi duon kayo unang nagkita nang mister mo at duon ka rin siguro pumayag na makasal kayo at magpunta sa America, lol. Ako, wala akong memorable birthday kasi hindi ako nagse celebrate nang birthday ko. Maski nung binata pa ako ay hindi ko nakagawiang mag celebrate nang birthday. Ngayon kapag nagbi birthday ako ay naghahanda lang ako nang spaghetti para sa mga bata. Thanks sa dalaw at comments. God bless you all always.
Hi! Mel, how are you? sorry sobrang late ng reply ko. Too many things to do but so little time for me and there's a lot happenings in me right now. I can't concentrate much in here yet. Well, my memorable and happiest experience in my lifetime was when I came here. My hubby's family was organized a surprise birthday party for me. That was the happiest birthday experience that I never had in my lifetime. God bless you and your family Mel.

Medyo me konting enigma sa sagot mo. Kung wala pa kayong relationship ni Greg at nabuo lang yun nung umalis siya, bakit siya pumunta nang Pinas in the first place? Masyado naman yatang expensive yun kung liligawan ka lang niya dito. Siguro ang sinasabi mo ay firm commitment to marry or betrothal pero bago pa siya pumunta sa Pinas eh me unawaan na rin kayo o mali ba ako. Alam mo mahirap din yung wala ka pang experience sa pakikipag boyfriend bago ka napakasal. Kaya lang yun siguro ang guhit nang palad mo. Anyway, all's well that ends well, ika nga. Bata pa ako eh nagluluto na ako para sa nanay ko at mga kapatid ko. Ako kasi ang panganay sa mga lalaki (meron pa akong kapatid na babae na panganay sa akin) at since hiwalay ang mga magulang namin eh ako na ang parang naging tatay nang mga kapatid ko. Ako pa nga ang nagturo sa misis ko na magluto dahil ni hindi siya marunong magsaing. Maginit lang nang tubig eh nasusunog pa, joke lang, lol. Sana maging very strong and lasting ang relationship ninyo at maging ideal ang family life ninyo. Mukhang henyo si mister, mahirap arukin ang mga posts niya, lol. Salamat sa dalaw frend. I never had a birthday celebration till I met John lol. For me, di naman importante ang magarbo eh basta you remember to thank the Lord for all the blessing with all those years.

Pareho tayo. I never celebrated my birthday and sometimes I am surprised when someone greets me. Not that I am not grateful to the Lord for adding another year to my life. It's just that I do not want to focus on myself. I just cook some spaghetti for my kids during my birthday. Si Dhemz nung masungkit ni Greg eh 21 pa lang at hindi pa nagka boyfriend. Si Greg yung una niyang boyfriend at itinali na siya agad. Maaaring wala na siyang gatas sa labi nuon pero hindi pa niya natikman ang thrill at heartaches nang pakikipag boyfriend. Kasama kasi sa buhay iyon. Pero siguro yun nga ang palad niya, hehehe, lol. Thanks sa dalaw at comments. God bless you all always.
