Your Returning Spouse Have What?

You have a spouse (or boyfriend or girlfriend if you are single) that worked abroad to help shore up the financial requirements of your family.  Your spouse suddenly came home and confided to you that she/he had developed the HIV virus (AIDS) through casual sex.  What would be your reaction?  Would you still accept her/him inspite of what had happened? Please explain your answer.

No. I wouldn 't accept anyone who has been un-faithful with a loose character

Hi Amrita,
Well, that's your point of view. I just hope it won't happen to you in real life. Thanks for your visit and point of view. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Hi Mel, Your interactive blog is very interesting.

It would be nice if you gave your input/opinion too.

That way we would know what you are thinking.

Hi Amrita,
Well, if that happens to me, I will react based on what my wife will tell me. If she wants to come back to our family and wants to turn a new leaf on life, I will still accept her since I cannot deprive my kids of the love and care of their mother. I can forgive her and take care of her if her disease will become full blown. If God has forgiven my sins why can't I forgive the sin of the person I love. But heavens forbid that a thing like that happens to us. Thanks again for your visit. God bless you always my friend.

I honestly don't know, Mel. It's hard to tell what I could do if this happens. Infidelity is definitely a no-no for me, but considering how much I love my husband, I'd probably forgive him.

Hi Kate,
Yes, it's really a very hard decision. But if we remember that God forgave us all our sins including the heinous ones, who are we not to forgive especially if we really love the person involved? Thanks for your visit and valuable viewpoint. God bless you always.
