Would you believe from someone who lives near the sea does not know how to swim? That's me. It was because when I was 6 years old, I drowned in the waters for about half a minute until they rescued me. Since then on, I fear the waters of the sea. But I love going to the beach just to relax but I don't swim because I don't know how.

I won't tell you my most memorable moment by the sea...hehe...

I live by the ocean now, it's just a short walk away, and my most favorite time of day is in the evening when the beach starts to clear out.

Hi Bingkee,
Somehow I think you must fight that fear because learning to swim can save your life later on. You can still learn to swim from a competent and able swim instructor. You can still enjoy swimming at sea on shallow waters only and with expert swimmers as companions. Thanks for sharing your memorable experience at the sea with us. God bless you always.

That's a dream house really, living by the sea. You can enjoy all the ambience of the beach and the sea at any time of the day. I would not insist anymore if you don't want to tell us your juicy experience by the sea, he,he,he *lol* Suffice it to say that you really enjoyed that experience. Ooooh, I'm dying to know that.He,he,he.*lol* I'm just joking. No offense meant. Thanks for your visit and juicy comments. God bless you always.

to be honest, I am not really a big fan of the beach. My sensitive skin gets irritated with the saltwater. Nevertheless, I will not forget the time I spent with Butch in Panglao Island in Bohol. The place was soooo beautiful. and as I marveled at the scenery I just felt the Lord telling me, "I created all these for you..." It melted my heart!

Have a great weekend , Mel =)

God bless =)

I have memories of playing in the sand and water with family and friends in Bombay and many beaches in South India

I love the sea. I think there is nothing better than being able to swim in the sea and relax. Unfortunately I live in the UK where the sea is extremely cold, but I have an uncle who lives in Barbados who I love to visit!

Hi Wendy,
Yes, Bohol is so beautiful and very richly endowed with breath taking natural resources. I have not been there yet and I pray that my family and I can visit the place in God's time. Yes, God always tell that to us- that He created everything for our visual pleasures. Thanks for the visit and meaningful comments. God bless you and your loved ones always.
Please take care of yourself and your baby.

Hi Amrita,
I know India is so big and there are many wonderful beaches and seafronts there. I'm sure you really enjoyed your family trysts there. Thanks for your visit and wonderful comments. God bless you always my wonderful friend.

Hi Ms. Pennylane,
Yes, I heard that the North Sea is so cold, extremely cold for people to swim and bath. Barbados is a wonderful place to relax and indulge in your favorite pastime of swimming.
Thanks for your visit and great comments. God bless you always my young friend.

I have a lot of great memories at a beach and lakes too. One memory I have that isn't so great is when I was about 3 yrs. old I was pushed on a float way over my head. I was kind of scared, no one in my family noticed right away. But luckily my father finally did and swam out to get me. I remember that and it happened over 30 yrs. ago.

Hi Sue,
That was a most unfortunate experience, one that can make you fear the sea. Nice thing that you were able to get over that experience and can now relax in the great ambience of the sea. How wonderful are the relaxing scenes at the beach and seafronts. Thanks for your visit and colorful comments. God bless you always my friend.

i remember when i was about 2 or 3 years old (yeah, that young, my family went to cuyab beach resort (couldn't remember where that was). i wanted so much to stay in the water but it was low tide, so my rubber tire (is that how you call salbabida?) was on dry land and i refused to be removed from the place my salbabida was. i'd scream if anybody touches my salbabida.

i also remember how much i hated sand on my feet. i didn't have rubber slippers on and so i borrowed my mom's. when she would take my slippers, guess she'd wear them already, i'd go kicking and screaming.

i have pictures of these memories. =D

Hi Pia,
It's remarkable that you can still recall experiences when you were just 2 or 3 years old. As young as that, you had quite a wonderful experience at the beach bonding with your family. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always my dear friend.
