What Do You Value More, The Praises Of Men Or The Praise Of God?

What do you value more, the praises of men or the praise of God?

I value the praises of God.

Hi Shy,
He will praise you when You meet Him face to face in heaven. He will say to you, "well done good and faithful servant." Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Mel I have to tell you that when you asked this question, the Holy Spirit gave me an answer to a life-long question. I always wondered why I was given illnesses that the medical world knows almost nothing about, so they treat me abusively, then clergy, bosses, teachers, family all doubt my illness because the medical world doesn't have answers...and now that you asked this question, I realized that it was necessary for me to be rejected and shunned by people, so that their opinions would not matter to me anymore. I know the truth, and their opinion does not change the truth. So with a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye, I thank you for triggering the answer to this life-long question. Now I can share it with everyone who has these "invisible illnesses". I don't care what people think anymore. The only opinion that matters is my Lord.
Bless you, Sheila

Dear mel your self introspective questions are very nice.

I seek God 's approval rather than man 's.

But I must also add that I want to do things in accordance to my faith and culture so that I may not offend society at large.

The moral laws of society do not clash with God 's laws in all countries.

Hi Shiela,
Yes, it does not matter whether the world treats us like trash so long as we know we are doing the will of the Lord in our lives. When we meet Him face to face, we will hear the most inspiring message from Him- "well done good and faithful servant." That would be the sweetest sound we would ever hear. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Amrita,
The approval of men means adulation from other men where the person is glorified rather than God. You have seen how people strive so hard to get those adulation. Testament to this are the futile attempts of many to land in the Guinness Book of World Records. Being at peace and interacting positively with people in our society do not constitute adulation from men. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Rose,
You are so right. It does not matter if we are unappreciated by men so long as we are appreciated by God. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
