Will You Still Wear Fur Coats Even If You Know They Came From Dead Animals?

Oh the vanity of women, why can't they let us keep our fuzzy furs?

Women, shall we lose our lives just to keep you warm?

I must escape man's cruelty

Your vanity costs us our lives in the most cruel way

This is your trophy, women of vanity

Will you still wear fur coats even though you know that they came from dead animals killed in the most inhuman and cruel way?

No,and I'm never gonna wear one. I don't aspire wearing a fur coat....besides it's too heavy , it's like adding 5 more pounds to your body. I know because I used to have an employer who gave me one but I refused telling her I don't need it.

I have a faux-fur coat and faux-fur lined /trimmed jacket and shoes----besides that it's cheap , I never have to worry about my conscience about those poor animals.

Yikes. The pictures are a bit too graphic.

I don't wear fur - real or fake. I can't recall a time when I ever did...

Hi Bingkee,
We must all be aware of everything we do whether they have disastrous consequences to animals around us. We were made stewards by God for the care of His patrimony but we botched this by being cruel, inhuman and greedy. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Mom,
Sorry for the graphic photo but I have to feature it to drive home the point of what they do to animal's to produce those warm and cozy fur coats. I apologize if the picture offended your sensibility. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Imelda,
Yes, you are right. One would look ridiculous and silly if one will wear a fur coat, what with the hot weather in the Phils. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Rose,
Pasensiya na, masyadong graphic itong last picture that sometimes it offends the sensibilities of others. But I have to feature it here to emphasize the escalating cruelty of man in butchering these poor creatures just to satisfy the vanity of their female clients. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

I got a real fur winter jacket from my sister but thinking of the poor thing animals especially the bunny that my daughter loves so much. I can't help myself just to hid it inside my winter box. Never wore it! Anyway, Happy Father's Day my dear friend Mel. enjoy your day! God bless you and your family always

Hi Sam,
Thanks for your greetings. I truly appreciate that. Happy Father's Day too to your hubby. Nandiyan na yung fur coat mo. Sayang naman kung hindi mo susuutin. Mawawalan nang halaga yung feelings nang kapatid mo sa pagkakaregalo niyan sa iyo. At least ngayon aware ka na kung saan nanggagaling ang mga fur coats and all the cruelties attached to their making. I wish you can educate your daughter about this so that she will refrain from buying any of them when she grows up. Thanks for your visit and your greetings. God bless you all always.

Hi Dhemz,
Yes, they are to be pitied because of man's cruelty to them. It's nice that you don't wear fur coats. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

No . I am against killing animals to make clothes with them.

In the ancient days when fabrics and materieals had not been invented there was a need to clothe yourself with fur to keep warm, it was a necessity not just a fashion. But in these modern tmes other are substitutes - go for them.

Mel Avila Alarilla said...

Hi Amrita,
How right you are. There are so many synthetic fabrics that can be made as coats so we need not kill animals for their furs. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Grabeh nuh, may ganyang tao pala sa mundo, kiling animals to sell it. Kakaawa naman ang animals and buyers didn't knew about it. I am told by my BIL who is a journalist that the campaign in that ad payed people to club those animals. I don't know who to believe.

Mel Avila Alarilla said...

Hi MelCole,
Even if the photo was contrived still we cannot deny the fact that trappers still kill those poor animals just to get their valuable furs. In this day and age where synthetic materials can be made for insulating materials for coats, it is unthinkable for some people to still resort to killing these poor innocent animals for their fur. God gave them to us to be cared for and not to be butchered. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Thank God I can't afford to buy fur coats. I won't buy anyway even if I have the money. Poor animals.

Mel Avila Alarilla said...

Hi Rossel,
Yes, poor animals that they have to die to keep some people warm. In this day and age where synthetic materials can be used to sew coats for people to keep warm, killing animals for their furs is already unconscionable. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
