When I was in my elementary years, we used to play what is locally known as 'spirit of the glass' or 'spirit of the coin' (Ouija board). I never really experienced anything 'supernatural' those days. But there were stories that the coin or glass really moved even if their fingers are not touching it. However there were no proof and I never witnessed any.
When I came to discovery what these things really do, I am now discouraging anyone I know who is practicing or 'playing' these things.
Hi Marvin,
It's a good thing that no evil spirit clung to you or disturb you after your episode with the spirit of the glass. It is a favorite pastime of many youths today but they are unaware of the real dangers that that "innocent" game can do to them. They are actually opening themselves up to malevolent spirits that can do them more harm than good. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
When I was a precocious kid who did not really know much about anything, I played with ouija board....but then I did not even know what it's for. But then , it did not do anything like calling on the spirits , like that. The older kids who enticed me to play with it told me it's a boaard game.....so how could I know it's sorcery?
NO- they are an abomination unto the Lord and belong to the devil
Hi Bingkee,
Yes, I understand you. Many young people in the Philippines are lured to it because of curiosity and because of peer pressure. I remember that my friends who told me about it said that they begin the process by praying first, then calling on the spirit of a departed person. The problem is these people are putting themselves in danger by inadvertently inviting evil spirits who may play with them but later on can harm them. It's definitely a no no to all Christians. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
Hi Amrita,
Yes, I agree with you wholeheartedly. May people not deal with them because of the danger they bring. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
It really bothers me that Ouija boards are sold in the GAME section of stores! People just have NO CLUE what kind of doors they are opening to evil forces with those. They should not be sold at all, but if this evil world thinks they need them, they should be in an adult shop. I never dealt with one because as a child I had neighbors, a girl and a boy about my age, who played with it, not realizing the danger, and they asked it if some danger would come to one of them. It spelled out "MOM". Then they asked in how many days, and it went to "2". It scared them so bad they broke it in half, threw it in the garbage can outside and lit it on fire. The next day they ran to our house, crying, shaking, their mom was at work, so they came to our house for comfort, they took my mom to their house and the Ouija board was sitting neatly on the table with burned edges and a crack down the middle. The day after that, the Mom was hit by a car and broke her leg in 2 places and had to be put in traction in the hospital for a month or more, so those friends had to go stay out of town with relatives. That was enough to keep me away from it all.
Hi Shiela,
Actually, oiuja board is very popular in the Philippines under the name Spirit of The Glass. Kids use to play with it for fun. But somehow, those who played it were later on bothered by evil spirits which were playful at first and became malevolent later on. It is best to keep away from these things to avoid opening up ourselves to the evil influences of those evil spirits. The experiences of your kid neighbors before were really eerie and frightening. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
