Little girls giggling uncontrollably.
A really good kiss.
Money in the bank and no bills pending.
A blue sky.
A great sunrise.
The ocean.
~feeling the Lord's love and comfort and strength, as tangible as a person's touch.
~Watching little children laugh. and play (or playing with them).
~Clean cold water to drink.
~warm clean water to soak in.
~hugs.
~being able to help someone in some way.
~being able to accomplish a good amount of things in a day.
~the very rare treat of going out for entertainment somewhere, like a play or fair or picnic or trip.
~the internet!!! Learning and world wide friends. SO BLESSED To live in these times!!
~finding friends I can talk to about spiritual ideas.
~people who have courtesy and manners. (Like you, Mel!)Rare to find in this life, yet you have brought many into my life.
~having an almost pain free day! WOOOO-THE BEST!!!

I pray to the Lord that He grants you all of your wishes especially the last one- that you can live your life free of pain. I can sense in your words your passionate longing for the outside world where you can run and play and do the things that will really make you happy. But we live by what the Lord gives us however painful they may be. They serve God's purpose and gives glory to His name. One day we will be able to fully understand and comprehend the magnitude of our sacrifices in life. Until then, we delight in the pleasure of God's blissful presence in our lives. I just re-read my post. I meant to put the sentence about you up one sentence, talking about how hard it is to find people you can talk about spiritual things with, and I was talking about how rare it is to find people like that and that you have brought many people who are spiritual into my life...but now that I think of it, the sentence about kindness and manners fits you too! Lol.

they say that happiness and sadness are never found separate... so the things that both make me happy and sad are my relationships with my family, my husband and my friends. Those are very important to me^-^ I'm happy when they're happy and sad when they're sad... life is so simple for me, you know... I can handle pains but I can't handle seeing my loved ones in pain...
The happiness and security of my family is what makes me happy.. When they're happy and safe, I am too!
When I see my wife and kids happy, it makes me feel so contented and fulfilled. Their love is what makes me happy!
