Sunflower - as it always faces the sun ...looking at the bright side of things.
Second choice would be lotus or water lilly as it grows in muddy water ...one can find beautty in the most forlorn circumstaces.
Hi Amrita,
You have chosen flowers with great symbolism. Your choices speak so much about you. Thanks for your visit my friend. God bless you always.
Oh wow! This is difficult. My first thought was to say the Daffodil. I don't think that's right, though. It doesn't quite fit.
Then I thought perhaps I would be a Crocus, fighting even the worst winter snow to make an appearance. But the life of a Crocus is fleeting. It doesn't last.
I think I am most like the African Violets sitting in my window. They are very persistent. They've weathered through some difficult times under my care, and yet they still present such beautiful flowers and healthy new growth. That is me. I've weathered through many difficult times and still keep blooming for those who love me. Yes, I believe the African Violet would represent me best.
Hi Mom,
You always make the best well thought comments you can give. Very well thought and clearly presented. Indeed you represent the African Violet with all the hardships you went through your life and still you are blooming. But one must also be pliant in the hands of the Master Gardener for He knows what's best for all His little flowers. Thanks for your visit and valuable comments. God bless you always. May the peace of the Lord be always with you.
Roses:) I'm always fascinated with the beauty and nature of roses: it has its thorns and if you're not careful your love for its beauty would turn into hate...
Hi Shawie,
Yes, you are indeed like a rose. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
Dear Mel...If I were a flower, I would like to be a Jack-in-the Pulpit. It is my most favourite flower.
Of course, being a lady, I wouldn't preach in public behind the pulpit at the church like the brothers do.
But surely in the world privately,I could drop a line or two of the gospel at the restaurant ,or the park or at somebody's home that I am visiting, or at a nursing home or hospital eh?
And I could always pass out a gospel tract on a bus or in the street.
I like dandelions too Mel because in Canada, these yellow beauties are the first sign of spring!
Christian love, Terry
I'm an orchid. Orchids are exotic.
Hi Terry,
I must admit I have not seen Jack in a Pulpit but I intend to research on that because of you. It's wonderful to know what you are doing for the Lord. God bless you more for that. I have seen dandelions and they are indeed beautiful. Thanks for your visit and valuable viewpoint. I appreciate that. God bless you always.
Hi Bingkee,
Yes, orchids are indeed exotic and so are you. That's why your husband call you a "hottie" because you are the most precious treasure he has. Thanks for your visit and valuable comments. God bless you always my friend.
Rose, beautiful and thorny at the same time..he he he..a wish..God bless. just dropping by.
Hi Jena Isle,
You are indeed a beautiful red rose. Thanks for dropping by and for your comments. God bless you always.
