Oh yes indeed. Good and evil have to be seperated. The Bible talks about it. All unsaved people who have rejected Jesus are going there.
Lake of eternal fire, where the worm never dies - eternal regret -gnashing of teeth, Described in the story of the rich man and Lazarus...earthly memories will be very painful.
Hi Amrita,
I like your unequivocal answers on questions here. Shows your very strong foundation of faith where people deny the existence of things that will remind them of their accountabilities after their death. God bless you more for it.
Dear Mel
Yes, I believe in Hell.
The Lord Jesus was telling the truth when he recounted the story of the rich man and Lazarus.
Luke 16:23
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
I knew that I deserved to go to hell for my sins, and when I realized this and saw that I was helpless to save myself and just plain lost, tnat is when Jesus saved me.
Luke 15:20
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Good question Mel...in Christian love, Terry
Hi Terry,
It's nice that your stand on the existence on hell is very unequivocal just like Amrita. But many Americans deny that. To some of them, what matters most is the here and now and the pleasure (they call it the pursuit of happiness) they can enjoy out of life. They even sneer at Jesus Christ calling Him a fraud and a myth. May the Lord have mercy on them. They took away praying at school and see what is
happening in some American campuses, massacres perpetuated by young misguided youths. Now they want to take away the praise "in God we trust" in your money. They also want to change Merry Christmas with just Happy Holidays. It's so sad that these things should happen to America. Thanks for your visit and inspired comments. God bless you always.
As much as I believe in Heaven, I also believe in hell.
Hi Bingkee,
Thank you for your stand on this. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
I believe in the Hell that the Bible describes, but I believe that even worse than THAT hell, is the eternal torment a person will feel when he experiences the pain that he caused to other people, and the feeling of what he COULD have accomplished/learned/done if he had chosen the right path.
Blessings, Sheila
