When the climb to the summit is so steep, how do you manage to keep on going?

The race does not always go to the swift or the strong, but to those who endure. Myself, I take needed breaks, then carry on. Like the story of the tortoise and the hare (turtle and rabbit), the rabbit went so fast he had to stop and sleep, while the turtle slowly endured and passed him as he slept. Thank goodness the climb to the top is not a race. You just have to keep trying your best, and ask for God's strength when you run out of your own.

I love challenges Kuya so the harder it gets, the harder I try to get to the goal. Focusing on my goal is what gets me to the top.

Hi Shiela,
Yes, you are right. The climb is not so much about strength and ability but rather about patience and perseverance. Many who started out strong and mighty have fallen by the wayside. Only those who will endure up to the end will receive the victor's prize from the Lord. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Dhemz,
You're welcome my friend. As the song goes, that's what friends are for. Yes, all the traits that you mentioned are all very important for us to reach the summit. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

This reminds me of this dream meaning. Na kapag you dream you are climbing or running and you able to reach your destination no matter how hard it is, it means that dream will come true.

Just hold on to God and think and condition yourself that you can do it.

Just today I read a quote by Nelson Mandela - which was something like this - just when you hav e crosse d one you see many more hills you have to climd - so its an onwards journey , for me 2 steps forward one step back - its just God 's grace.

Hi Amrita,
Yes, the climb to the summit is not to the swift and strong but to the persevering. You are right when you said that we can go two steps forward and one step backwards. The most important thing is that we should not stop with the climb. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
