My memorable Halloween experience is our first Halloween celebration here. I won’t ever forget how happy my daughter was wearing her Halloween costume for the first time. I had so much fun too giving away candies to all the lil ones, kiddos and adults in their unique designs Halloween costumes.

Hi Sam,
Yes, your very first Halloween experience in the US was your most memorable for it was an eye opening experience. I'm sure your kid enjoyed her first Trick or Treat experience in the US. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Shy,
Yes, we don't have a regular Trick or Treat celebration in the Philippines the way they do in the US. You could probably relate a memorable Halloween experience with your kids. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

I grew up in a rural area. Didn't know about halloween until I was in highschool. But still, I can clearly remember all my childhood's All Saint's Day and All Soul's Day celebrations.

These two days meant: special food to be "shared" to our departed loved ones, going to the cemetery, and prayer offerings... and I still prefer to celebrate these days that way.

Hi Shiera,
I agree with you. Halloween celebration in the Philippines especially in the province is a solemn one with visits to the cemetery and the reunion of clans. As you say, plentiful food is served to everybody. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

yung memorable ko was during high school days...every Halloween kasi may intramurals kami...and we always set a haunted house and we dress up like zombies and other costumes to scare people...:)

growing up d ko na experience yung trick or treating...d naman din kasi kultura natin ang trick or treating...na adopt lang natin to recently.

did your little princess go trick or treating?

I've never known Halloween till I came here. The most memorable was when we were there in Korea.

Those are really very memorable Halloween experiences when you were still studying. Those were the most exciting days of one's life. My princess did Trick or Treat me, hehehe. She wore a white sheet, painted her face and let her hair down ala Sadaku. Well, she got all the candies I bought and shared them with her brothers. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
