Parang bachelor yang nasa unang photo kuya ah hehehehe.. Reminiscing my past always bring me both pain and joy, usually joy. Sabi nga nila No Pain, No Gain so ir is always part of our journey in life. What important is from that pain that we experienced, we become strong and learn from those negative stuff that we have encountered.

Hi Rose,
You are one of my blogger friends that I admire so much because of your courage and strength in life brought about your hard experiences in the past. They molded you to what you are now. I hope you can relay those strong character to your kids so that they will grow up strong and resilient too. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Interesting question. I look back with joy mostly. Sounds strange to say from a person who has rarely seen much but pain, but I know that whatever hardships that happened all had a reason, and I learned and grew from each one. I can remember the strength and guidance of Heavenly Father through everything, and I know His love and comfort will continue, no matter how dark and deep my valleys get. I know that He loves me and that my trials were custom made to strengthen my individual weaknesses. I also am so very grateful for my many blessings. I know life could have been so much worse, so I can look on my past with mostly joy (with a bit of sadness.)
Bless you,
Sheila

Oh Chubskilit, I didn't read your comment until now. We think so much alike!!!

Hi Shiela,
It is remarkable that you still see your past with happiness in spite of the fact that it may be littered with pain and suffering. You have a very positive perspective in life, one that correspond with God's own perspective. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Pain, joy, hardship, relief sickness health , all these things are interwoven in the fabric of life. And they are very much present in my life too.

A wise man has said "Our lives are like th e course of the sun. At the darkest moment there is promise of daylight."

Hi Amrita,
No, not all people go through the experiences you had with your life. God has a special purpose for you that is why He let you undergo all those burdens in life. When you meet the Lord face to face He will explain the purpose for your life and will give you the crown of righteousness which you so richly deserve. You are so blessed my sister in Christ. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

depende kung ano yung past kuya mel...siguro pipiliin kong e reminisce yung maliligayang araw ko sa buhay...hehehe!

Mel Avila Alarilla said...

Hi Dhemz,
Sometimes we can't choose what we want to reminisce because our minds just float to the past, reliving old scenes irregardless of whether they are good or bad. Anyway, they just become hindsight because we have already moved past them all. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Kuya, just a quick hop.

About the Phil Products, sad to say, very limited ang imported products galing sa Philippines. Kahit yung tinapa, we have to order it like two months bago dumating, yan ang sabi nung chinese hehehe. Ang madaming oriental products here is thailand and other asian countries, bibihira lang ang Philippines.

Mel Avila Alarilla said...

Hi Rose,
Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

i used to feel pain, but not anymore. by God's grace, my pain turned to joy. joy while expecting His promises to come to pass. joy while in the midst of a chaotic situation. and i thank God for His abounding grace.
