Are You A Meat Eater Or A Vegetarian?

Are you a meat eater or a vegetarian or both? If you are a meat eater, what is your favorite meat dish? And if you are a vegetarian, what is your favorite vegetable dish?

hi! Mel, I am both meat lover and a vegetarian. My favorite meat dish is pork sinigang (yummy! super miss ko na) and for vegetable dish I love vegetable salad with a vinaigrette dressing. :)

As I already mentioned in your previous post K. Mel, I can't be a straight vegetarian because of beef esp steak. No matter how I try to be one, I still crave for my faves - beefsteak or nilaga and pochero. But because meat is not really healthy, I limit my intake of it. Most of the time, hubby and I eat plenty of vegetables and fruits, sometimes fish. And living in Thailand where the kitchen is usually on the streets or everywhere outside the house, we choose to cook our own Pinoy dishes at home para rin iwas sobrang anghang hehehe! We don't want to miss sinigang, pinakbet, pancit, tinola, adobo, caldereta, afritada, kare-kare, atbp. Iba tlga ang nakasanayan natin siyempre. Thanks for this post.

Hi Sam,
Masarap nga ang pork sinigang especially yung buto buto at tadyang. Masarap din ang vegetable salad maski pa ano ang dressing dito. Ako naman gusto ko ay thousand island dressing sa salad ko. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi sis Pia,
Yes, it is advisable to eat both kinds of food and just avoid fatty foods. More on fruits and vegetables for our health. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Nice A,
Ang dami mong paboritong pagkain, lol. I agree with you. I tasted Thai food before and are they that spicy? I cried and got a runny nose because of the super spiciness of the Thai noodles I ate. It's good to eat more fruits and vegetables and lean meat and fish for better health. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

I prefered veggies over meat KuyaM. I would pick seafoods over meat too. But of course to make the diet balance, kumakain ako ng meat syempre..

Growing up, my Mom never force me to eat vegetable so I ate very limited vegetable then. When I went to Asian countries, that's when I started loving different kinds of vegetables. Of course I love meat!

I balance it with meat, poultry, vegetable, dairy, seafood and legumes---to try to live a healthy life.

Hello Kuya, kadarating lang namin from FIL's house. Okay naman kami here, medyo settled and adjusted na rin. I read your comment sa blog ni hubby, yung statue of St. Lourdes dun sa backyard namin eh pagaari dati ng former owner nung house isa yun sa mga factor why I fell in love with the house.

Hi Rose,
Siyempre ang diet na mas lamang ang vegetables at fish kasama na ang fruits ay very healthy at malayo sa sakit. Nakagisnan mo kasi ito sa Pinas na mas marami tayong kinakaing gulay at prutas kaysa karne. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi John,
Asians are very fond of vegetables and fruits and fish as well, that is why Asians have longer life span than Occidentals. Of course, you have always like meat dishes. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Rose,
Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Meat lover po ako, pero I'm trying to eat veggies na rin for my health sake and I'm loving it.

Hi Karen,
Maganda talaga ang kumain nang mas maraming veggies at fruits at kung kakain man nang meat eh yung lean meat lang para iwas sakit. Thanks sa dalaw at comments. God bless you always.

I'm not a meat lover though I eat meat sometimes especially if it's pork adobo or homba. hehehe. But I would prefer veggies over meat. Most of the times at home we cook veggies and fish. Maybe once or twice a month we have meat on the table.

Have a wonderful day my friend. God bless you and your family always...

Hi Shiela,
I missed you so much my friend. I will go over to your blog to update myself. Yes, eating more fruits and vegetables and eating meat only sparingly promotes a healthy lifestyle. Of course this must be coupled with regular exercises especially aerobic ones. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always my friend.
