Turquoise/Aqua. Ever since I was old enough to talk, if someeone asked my favorite color, other children would say "red" or "blue", "green", but I was the strange one. I'd say "Turquoise!" Then turquoise went out of style for about 20 years and you could not buy any cloth or any object with that color, so I switched to white. Crazy about white. Wanted to be a nurse so I could wear white and help others. Now turquoise is back, there's even a website dedicated to things only turquoise! lol. What about you Mel?
Blessings, Sheila

I am RED KuyaM, kasi fighter ako. Fighter not in the sense of making away but with the challenges of life. Vibrant red represents my bubbly personality too. I don't like dull moment so red is perfect for me.

Hi Shiela,
Turquoise is indeed not a popular color. I am also not aware of it. You say it's similar to aqua, so it's a shade of blue isn't it? White is a very pure and clean color. Actually it is a complete color. My favorite color is blue, light blue like the sky. I always wanted to look at the sky, that's probably the reason why my favorite sport was kite flying so that I can see a lot of the sky, lol. Thanks for your visit and comments. Merry Christmas to you all. God bless you always.

I like black kuya Mel.. It's because it goes well with all colors... And I also love yellow! Yellow for me is a life giver.. The color of the sun... Yellow for me signifies a new beginning kasi after the rain, the sun shines..

Mel; here is the blog I was speaking of, with everything turquoise. http://www.houseofturquoise.com/ It is a mixture of blue and green, and it can be light or medium or dark. The scientists have done brain wave tests while having patients look at different colors, and found that each color affects the brain and thoughts and behvior differently. They now have a pink room in all N. American prisons, because for a man, pink can calm a man down from a raging anger to a calm state. I think that might be why men like to see pink on girls so much too. Turquoise caused the brain to actually try to heal itself and the body. It is the most healing color. I didn't know I'd need that healing when i was 3 and telling others my favorite color. Bright Red makes people active, sometimes to the point of anger or violence, but dark red is restful and passionate, as is purple. Green makes a person patient but also hungry. Black makes a person depressed if he stares at it too long or never mixed with other colors. Yellow makes people more positive.
The name of that science is psychoneuroimmunology. I wanted to be a decorator for a long time after I learned that as a teenager, making rooms to change people's moods.
Bless you Mel! Praying for a miracle for you!
Sheila
