There are so many songs, I really don 't know
Hi Amrita,
Yes there are many songs that evoke memories in our mind. You probably have no particular song that is extra especial to you. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
Some hymns stand out
1. To God be the glory great things He hath done.
2. By the sea of crystal saints in glory stand.
3. How firm a foundation ye saints of the Lord.
4 On Christ the solid Rock I stand
5. I need Thee every hour
6. Have Thine own way Lord
7 I am weak but Thou art strong
Hi Amrita,
I see that your favorite songs are all praise and worship songs. God bless you more for that. It seems that you have already surrendered your life to the Lord. We all look forward to meeting Him in the air when He comes back for us. Thanks again for your visit and inspiring comments. God bless you always.
i have a lot, but one would be a song by shaniah twain --- you're still the one. i remember telling my former office mates (my husband included) that i love this song. from then on everytime i hear this song, it reminds me of jeric. those were the days when we were just friends at work. beautiful memories.
I love music so there are so many songs that I acquaint with many emotions and all other highlights of my life. But the songs that made the greatest impact are those songs that praise God. Praise songs remind me that despite the odds I encounter, I know that in the end , it will be for my own good, so I thank and praise Him through praise songs.
Hi sis Pia,
Yes that song is beautiful and is also one of my favorites. I sure hope that Jec would sing that song to you one of these days by the grace of God. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
Hi Bingkee,
Yes, praise and worship songs are elevating and inspiring. They remind us of our main activities when we get to heaven. We will be forever singing praise and worship songs to the Lord. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
hmmp, it's quite hard to say coz there are few songs... but just recently upon watching Sharon on TFC & they featured Bisayan folk songs from Pilita Corrales,Dulce,etc... treasured, fondest memories were endless as I was telling my husband all about it. Bisayan folk songs were very significant to me coz I grow up listening to those from my Mom singing while carrying my baby brothers on her arms- putting to sleep:)) it was always picture of love:))
I love the father and son song, quite lessons to learn..
Thanks again Sir Mel for the prayers. I am doing well now.
Hi Shawie,
I could just imagine your mother singing those Visayan songs to your siblings. Those songs must have evoked pleasant memories in your mind. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
Hi John,
Father and Son song by Cat Stevens really has a strong message to its listeners. I like the song too. You're welcome, John. Praise the Lord that you are already well. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
