I don't think every dream has a meaning, but the scriptures speak of God giving dreams as messages, so some dreams do have meanings. The dream dictionary that has a symbol for every tiny item you saw in your dream, I don't believe that. If the dream says "a frog in your dream means you'll soon have a visitor", I don't believe that, because every dream dictionary is different. On the other hand, there is a spiritual gift called "the interpretation of dreams, which Joseph had. is very real.

Yes, I agree with what you say. There are special dreams wherein God reveals a certain event that will occur and He gives special people the power to interpret those dreams like Joseph of Genesis and Daniel. Ordinary dreams can have certain meanings too especially if they originate from the subconscious part of our brain. But overall, dreams are just meaningless meanderings of our active imagination given the freedom to roam in the realm of the subconscious mind. Thanks for your visit and profound comments. Most of my dreams are nonsensical. But there are some dreams of mine which really are like signs ---some sort of predictions or some sort of analysis of my current state of affairs.
Sometimes my dreams happened for real, i dunno if its coincedence or its a way of God's communication with me.. but most of the time, its far from reality..

Yes, most of our dreams are really nonsensical and are extensions of our over active imaginations. And yes, there are dreams that are drawn from our subconscious and are meant as premonitions or warnings of future events. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

i had dreams that i know were dreams from God. i knew they had meanings and were eventually revealed to me. although the realization of that dream has not been fulfilled yet... i think... i'm waiting for that time to come. i know it will.

I often wondered about that Kuya Mel. Sometimes when I dreamed of something horrible, I just pray to God to prevent it from happening in real..
If the dream is from the Lord it has meaning and purpose. I 've had dreams like that and the Holy Spirit revealed what they menat. Other dreams are just our unconcious self or thoughts playing upon our psyche

Most dreams are nonsensical as Bingkee said. Some dreams become nughtmares and are very scary. Most probably, they are induced by the evil ones. And there are dreams that are prophetic in nature and are induced by the Holy Spirit. It is for us to discern them spiritually. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
