"magic" can be evil. and satan can do those things. so yes, i do believe in magic the same i way i believe in witchcraft. but those magic we see to entertain kids are all tricks of course.
Stage magic, as represented in your photo, is absolutely the art of sleight-of-hand and misdirection. No mysterious, otherworldly powers in play there — just skill and practice, practice, practice.
On the other hand, some of your tags refer to supernatural or metaphysical topics, which have nothing to do with stage magic. I do believe that our physical senses register only a small slice of the world around us. When we experience glimpses of the world outside our normal scope of "reality", we think they're scary or weird, or we explain them away.
I think of our senses being like the visible range of the light spectrum. We see light and dark and the colors of the rainbow, but those are only a fraction of the spectrum. It goes all the way from infra-red to ultra-violet and beyond. Just because we can't see them with our eyes doesn't mean they aren't there.
I think it's the same with the world around us. The physical world we see around us is just a small piece of the continuum of energy. The things we call spirits or ghosts may just be on a higher frequency — one that we don't normally experience. Sometimes the energy levels may cross over into our perceivable range, or there may be someone (we would say they were psychic) who is more sensitive to those vibrations, and can make sense of their energy patterns. Their sensitivities may manifest in some of the other topics you mention — ESP, telekinesis, clairvoyance, etc.

Stage magic? No. They have an explanation for every trick. Magic like love and beauty? Yes. Evil? Yes. There is opposition in all things...so there are miracles and there are evil forces.
