I appeal to all my readers to please pray for the divine healing of sis Emily who is confined in a hospital right now because of a severe lupus flare. By the stripes of Jesus she is healed. Amen.
This is my swollen hand during my recent confinement in the hospital due to a lupus flare.

I'm praying! I am surprised she could use her cell phone to get that picture. Here we are not allowed to take the cell phone into the hospital because it interferes with sensitive electrical equipment being used on patients. The reason her hand is swollen like this is because the nurse is not watching the IV and the vein has collapsed, sending all the liquid into the skin! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Lupus is such a miserable disease!

My heart bleeds every time I see pictures like this. I feel miserable that I could not do anything for my sick friends. But I could pray and depend on the grace and mercy of God. One day when we all gather in front of our heavenly Father, He will explain to us the meaning of all these pains and sufferings. Oh, I'm so naive..Mel... I don't even know what a lupus flare is until I read this post and eventually googled the word... that's really devastating news but sometimes it comes with a big reason. Maybe for some people who had been ill, it doesn't matter to them that much than to us who don't have it... I pray that she will be more stronger in this most difficult time of her journey.

You have a heart just like the Lord's that is why you are burdened by the suffering of others. Lupus, bipolar disorder,aids and cancer are some of the modern diseases that have plagued the modern world. We can only pray for those unfortunate enough to contact them. I already made a warning post in my Random Thoughts blog about identity theft by hackers who hacked their way into my yahoo and google accounts and through my inbox sent those spurious letters to all the addressees. Please disregard these solicitation letters or any similar letters to that effect. It is a scam. You will see that the letter was poorly written and meant to get your money.
