My opinion is:
"There's no peace without war first"

We fight everyday, but the question is.. Is it useful or not.. if it's not we should keep our energy to face the greater war in the future.

honestly, anymore, I'm not really feeling the war thing. Most of the time, it's only done for money, power, natural resources, land, religion or revenge. And those just aren't good enough reasons.

Probably the only time it's justifiable is if someone invades your land and attacks you. Then you have to defend yourself.

Other than that, violence begets violence and rarely accomplishes anything other than too many innocent dead and deep seeded, generational animosity.

Hi Sigit,
I respect your opinion my friend. But sometimes war becomes a habit and peace an excuse by some expansionist countries. Thanks for your visit and valuable comments my friend. God bless you always.

Hi Lala,
Your words are full of wisdom. I think what you say is true. The only war that is justifiable is the defense of one's own motherland from a foreign invasion. But sometimes war is between one nation with different ethnic and religious affiliations. Thanks for your visit and your valuable viewpoint. God bless you always.

No, I don't believe that man must resort to war to achieve his purpose in life. We can learn through our mistakes on how to live in peace despite our endless differences. I also believe that war can be avoided.

One thing, I've noticed throughout history the incidence of war has lessened over time. A long time ago, empires extended their territories by using force. But as humanity learned from their mistakes and the human rights convention were created, the war lessened.

No, war can never be justified. But war has been in our world for the longest time but I believe that peace is the only answer but to how we can achieve it, I guess only God knows.

Hi Wendy,
How right you are. War is meaningless in a humane society where everybody looks at each other's welfare. Instead we should strive to have a universal brotherhood without any form of discrimination or bigotry. Thanks for your visit and inspired comments. God bless you always my friend.

Hi sis Ems,
Yes, war is not the answer to all our aspirations in life. Peace is the only way to any meaningful existence. We should start by respecting each others' rights and beliefs. Thanks for your visit and wonderful comments my friend. God bless you always.

Certain wars have beenfought to restore peace and order and crush evil. Those are justifiable.
