mmmmm...honestly I don't...I've only known GOD as my guardian...I was born to a God-fearing family, they only inculcate God in our minds and noone else...

Hi Bb_Anne,
I respect your stand on this but even the Bible reports the activities of angels. Well, to each his own belief. Thanks anyway for your honest opinion. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless.

I do believe in guardian angels. I have read and witnessed many times that guardian angels have stepped in a kept some on out of danger and such. I believe everyone has one whether they believe it not.

Mel, I also wanted to just thank you for all the kind words and prayers you have sent me way during this crisis I am experiencing right now. You are truly a "guardian angel" yourself!

Continued blessing to you and yours,

Hi Tammy,
Thank you for thanking me but as always, TO GOD BE THE GLORY. You know why I'm blogging? I took up blogging as an active ministry for the Lord. If I can just point one soul to God's kingdom, then my work was well worth it. Yes, guardian angels are there to act as channels of God's blessings for us. Many times, our guardian angel has kept us from harm and danger. We do not pray to them but we acknowledge them as harbingers of God's infinite love for all His children. I am praying so much that God will provide for all your needs. Just trust Him wholly and you will never be put to shame. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you and your family always.

Yes, in Psalm 91 it says "because you have made the Lord your dwelling place...he gives His angels charge concerning you". I also love the account in 2 Kings 6 when the eyes of a young servant of Elisha the prophet are opened to see angelic protection surrounding the city they are in:)

While I don't know that it is forbidden to speak to an angel, I think it is wise not to be occupied with trying to. The bible also says that satan masquerades as an angel of light sometimes. Many have been led astray by speaking with "angels" they felt were from God. Anytime a person feels they have a message from a heavenly being, I think it is important to verify it with the Bible...the main way God speaks to his people today is by His holy Word and the Holy Spirit who indwells the believer.

Oh my, I dont think I kept it very short!! But this was a very interesting topic, thanks for posting it:-)

yes, everyone of us has a guardian angel. this was confirmed by an Austrian woman who went by the name Maria Simma. look for her in the internet. her messages were collated in a book by an American priest. http://junbrioso.blogspot.com/

Oh Mel, I don't know how I missed this post! I believe wholeheartedly that I had a "guardian angel experience" a few months ago. I was waiting at a traffic signal and there was a lady waiting next to me. The turn arrow (for both directions) was on and we were waiting for our green light. The light changed and I stepped on the gas and nothing...I looked at the lady next to me and noticed she, too, was trying to start her car. The next thing we new a black car sped through the oncoming traffic red light going at least 100 mph with a police car (with siren blaring) right behind him. As soon as they passed, I turned the key and the car started...same with the lady next to me. I went a few hundred yards and pulled into a parking lot because I was shaking so badly. The woman pulled in next to me as visibly shaken as I was. We shared a prayer thanking God for his intervention. There truly was a guardian angel on both our dashboards that day. I don't share this with too many people, because I have received several "rolled eyes" when I have repeated it before. Thank you for listening and God bless you!
