I think this depends on several factors...
The individual
Their faith or beliefs
Length of their relationship
I think this is one reason it is important to chose your partner wisely and for the right reasons because if you get to a point where this is an issue in your relationship you even though this is an important piece in the puzzle you love the person anyway and whether through the storm with them.
