Do you realize this is one of the only laws that comes with a promise? There are only 2 or 3.
Mal. 3: 8, 10:Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
I have had times when I had to decide whether our family would have electricity or pay tithing, and when I paid tithing, the Lord always found a way for us to have enough for everything else.
Blessings,
SheilaBluebirdyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07443245849821593007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3213001705333657004.post-59726240779984756062009-03-13T18:56:00.000-07:002009-03-13T18:56:00.000-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Bluebirdyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07443245849821593007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3213001705333657004.post-30493852507893590782009-01-15T14:48:00.000-08:002009-01-15T14:48:00.000-08:00Hi Aisha,Thanks for your visit and inspired commen...Hi Aisha,
Thanks for your visit and inspired comments. Yes, we can never outgive God. Tithing is actually a test on how much we trust God to make good His promise in Malachi. Thanks for your visit and comments. There are many people who...Everyone must give back. There are many people who donate large amounts to charities and are quite well-off themselves. I believe it is the laws of the universe that God set, which takes care of these generous people.

If Christians could only see how important it is to tithe...
1) It is an act of obedience (Malachi),
2) People need our help and Jesus instructed us in Matthew to "feed the poor"
3) It is an act of unselfish generosity - God loveth a cheerful giver, and
4) It shows God that we appreciate our blessings when we help others.

I believe it also helps us to "love" ourselves more when we know we are making a difference.SandraJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09492365192174678899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3213001705333657004.post-33854099516924348462009-01-03T11:57:00.000-08:002009-01-03T11:57:00.000-08:00Hi Bingkee,God bless you more for your bold pronou...Hi Bingkee,
God bless you more for your bold pronouncement. This is an area in Christian worship that has spawned a lot of controversies. I would surmise that there are more Christians who give less than 10% of their gross income to their church. What more those who are not familiar with Biblical precepts. But I think it boils down to one's abiding faith in God, that He will return to the tither a hundred times more than what he gives to the church. We can never out give God. Thanks for your visit and straightforward
comments.
