Mel, Congratulations on the honor of being highlighted on another site!
In response to the question, no, all of my dates could see very well! hahaha hee hee hee. Sorry, bad joke.
The closest thing I had to a blind date was when a computer friend drove a thousand miles to come meet me, and I didn't know if the picture he used online was very old or current or what he would look like or act like etc. That was REALLY nerve wracking because I would have to entertain him as a guest in the city even if I decided he was not my type of guy. I did have him stay at a hotel though. He hoped to save money by staying at my house, which would be safe becuase my parents were here to chaperone. Anyway he came, he was a great Christian guy and he looked just like his picture and we got very close in just a few days, until I showed him pictures of what I looked like in high school, then he broke up with me, saying "I can't beleive how much the illness has changed you." He thought I looked just fine before he saw those pictures! We stayed friends online for many years after, and even after I was married he kept saying that if I ever lost my husband, he would take me, if I could be more perfect. I told him that there was no chance, because I have a husband willing to stay with me through all my imperfections...so why would I want to be with a man who is waiting for me to be more perfect? Well the Lord found the right man for me. I couldn't have found him on my own...so all is well that ends well. This computer dating is a whole new era and risk to the phrase "blind dating". Good question!
Bless you Mel,
Sheila

Hi Kuya, I have seen that movie (the photo you've posted) and I love the story.

And t answer your question, yes I did. Before I meet my husband, I had a textmate and uso pa nun ang eyeball hehehe... He was a teacher but he truned out to be a little aggressive so right there and then it ended lol..

Off topic.

I just checked the votes and the one leading dropped to 509. I emailed the organizer yesterday actually kasi she sent us email saying that there are still fraud votes so I asked if there are for rylie. When I checked just a little while ago, it was changed. Praise God for that!

Sorry brother NO.

Hi Shiela,
Wow that was some experience. But I really don't believe in blind dates. Blind dates in the Philippines are usually arranged by mutual friends or through a text mate. Anyway, all things work together for the good of those who love Him who have been called according to His purpose. I always believe that if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior and is born again, all things that will happen to you is by the will of God. The guy really was never meant for you. I hope and pray that you are well and fine. Thanks for the visit and meaningful comments. God bless you always.

Hi Rose,
I really don't like the idea of eyeballs or blind dates. Many sordid stories are read about eyeballing or blind dates resulting to tragic consequences. Regarding Rylie, she is leading again and has a big lead. Let us all pray and work together for her victory by the grace of God. Sana wala nang mandadaya pa. Thanks for the visit and comments. God bless you always.

I don't like blid dates. I would rather find a date myself when I was still single.. Glad I have found my soul mate!

nope. never agreed to it in spite of friends nagging me to go for it. didn't really feel good about the whole idea.

Hi John,
Actually blind dates are done just for kicks and does not amount to anything. Yes, I'm also glad you've found your soul mate. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi sis Pia,
People who do that are usually the adventurous types who find excitement from unexpected happenings. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Among all your blogs, this is my favorite of course, so congrats.

I'd never been to a blind date. All my dates were guys I had previously met. Hehehehe

Hi Bingkee,
Of course seldom are there blind dates in the Philippines. Now they term it as eyeball or when two texters meet face to face for the first time. It's quite dangerous for ladies to date a guy she has not met before. One can never be too careful you know. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
